Facebook users should be on the lookout for fraudulent activity using their personal data. The personal data of about 533 million Facebook users was posted in an online hacking forum over the weekend. Facebook users from 106 countries have been affected, including over 32 million users in the US. Scammers could still use the stolen information to impersonate people, to commit fraud, or to scam Facebook users into revealing even more of their personal information. Unfortunately, there isn’t much you can do to protect your personal data once it has already been exposed.
